PIC Programmer Microprocesser Programming

The 16F84 (soon to be the 16F84A) has fast become the entry point for hobbyists & beginners into micro-controller programming. This Kit contains all the components - to learn & test this uC. It is designed for the beginner. A test program lights to flash LED's at different rates (plus all hardware resistors & LED) come with the Kit. A 16F84-4MHz PIC also included. (In early 1998 the C version was superseded by the F version. For the beginner there is no difference between the two. Treat them as the same (but use the correct assembler in the software supplied since there are some 'small' differences.) In November, 1999 the 16F84A was released. This is a 20MHz version of the 16F84-04/P, 4MHz version.)

Specifications:

  • L: 2-5/8" W: 2-7/8" H: 1/2".
  • Software is only for the 16C84 & 16F84 so no other programming options to confuse you.
  • Software can read, verify & load EEPROM space, program space & configuration fuses can be treated separately.

  • Requires 9 Volts DC power supply.
    (Need a Power Supply?)
  • 16C/F84 programs made by other assemblers can also be used with this programmer.
  • Full schematics, circuit explanation & documentation provided.
