Function Generator Op Amp kit
You do not need a lot of money to have access to square, triangle or sine waves in the audio range. This simple kit uses four operational amplifiers (op-amps) to deliver these waveforms in the 6Hz to 6KHz range. The sine wave is a pseudo sine wave produced by a very simple wave shaping circuit. Uses a quad op-amp LM348. Good educational kit.
- L: 1-5/8" W: 1-7/8" H: 3/4"
- Requires 9 volt battery
- Outputs 6Hz to 6kHz
- Creates square, triangle, or sine wave
--> Nice kit and easy to assemble. Had no problems with the kit and added some terminal blocks from an electronics store to enable connections to the 9v supply and outputs without soldering. Only thing i disliked was the knob for adjusting the frequency was not very long, so I could not mount the kit in a project box with enough of the knob outside the box for a a dial to be added. Overall a great kit for the price.
--> I used this circuit as a tachometer driver. It went
together easily and worked on the first try. I substitued a LM324 in place of the 348 as well as
IN4007 diodes in place of the 4004's and all worked
