The TL494 is a one-chip Pulse-Width-Modulation (PWM) control circuit, primarily designed for power supply control, with the flexibility to adjust to specific applications.
The TL494 is comprised of 2 error amps, adjustable oscillator, a DTC (Dead Time Control) comparator, pulse steering control flip-flop, a 5V, 5% precise regulator and output control circuits.
